An immersive two-week Study Trip to France is organized in conjunction with Airbus, with focus on Aircraft Safety Management and Aircraft Design and Manufacturing Management. Apart from visiting the design and manufacturing facilities at Airbus in Toulouse, participants have the opportunity to meet industrial leaders at Paris Air Show, French’s Direction Générale de l’Aviation Civile (DGAC), ENAC or Aéroports de Paris (ADP).
The Executive MBA program in Aeronautics and Aviation Management is jointly developed and led by three academic partners – Tsinghua University’s School of Economics and Management (Tsinghua SEM), École Nationale de l’Aviation Civile (ENAC), and École des Ponts Business School – as well as one leading industiry partner – Airbus.
The program helps graduates to apply modern business and management practices, concepts, models, frameworks and analytical methods to aviation management, teaches them leading-edge aviation management practices and skills, as well as how to develop the leadership skills necessary to lead their own organizations to top positions in the global aviation industry.
The aviation industry has become one of the most active and influential fields of business, science and technology in the 21st century. Aviation Management is typically a complex and large-scale system which is made up of independent and interrelated sub-systems that involves various disciplines such as airline operations and management, airport operations and management, airspace resource scheduling and management, as well as aviation manufacturing management. Coordination among the components of this complex system is key and necessary to improve the operational efficiency and safety of the entire aviation industry.

WHAT STUDENTS SAY
I was really convinced that the Global Executive MBA from École des Ponts was the best education I could get. It is one of the top three leading engineering schools in France, known on a worldwide basis and I was fully confident that doing an MBA at École des Ponts would create the right momentum to move up in my career.
Three months into the program, I was promoted to project manager within my previous company, the Capgemini Group. The program also helped me find my new assignment with Metanext at Société Générale. Furthermore, the E-MBA degree has improved many of my skills.
What’s most special about the Global Executive MBA is that it gives you a holistic view on business on top of being an expert. In my opinion, the business plan development course is one of the most important courses in the MBA program. It gives you a ‘ready-to-go’ kit if you’re planning to launch your own company. And even if you’re not planning to be an entrepreneur it is a great tool and asset to have for your internal and external customers and your investors.
