Nicolas Lapalu – France- General manager, OSBORN-UNIPOL

“I chose the MBA because of its world-class faculty and highly diversified student profiles,  and the fact that it is an engineering school-backed program. The technological  management and innovation aspect is unique in the world. I saw it as a great opportunity to  widen my knowledge and prepare myself for a leap forward in my career.”

THE BEST OPTION FOR MOVING UP
After a longstanding career in the automotive industry I wanted to move to a more general management position. After having looked at what was possible, I was really convinced that the Solvay Ponts MBA was the best education I could get. It was one of the top three leading engineering schools in France, known on a worldwide basis and I was fully confident that doing an MBA at Solvay Ponts would create the right momentum to move up in my career. And therefore I would be able to further transform the company I was working for, through innovation and sharp entrepreneurial skills.

AN EXECUTIVE MBA TO THINK GLOBALLY
Since roughly 14 months, I’m the General Manager of the French subsidiary of a US-based industrial company. It’s a new position for me and it’s a new challenging step in the career I started a long time ago. During my Executive MBA, the international faculty influenced deeply the way I’m doing business today; taking into account that the economy is now really global, even if you have to adapt to a local situation.

Shailesh Dixit (India), Associate Head Sales, Presales & Solutions, TCS- France

“The most unique thing about the MBA course is you get the complete spectrum, it’s not a specialized course where you become an expert on a particular target. It gives you a very holistic approach and view, from entrepreneurship to innovation and tech management. You will transcend traditional business thinking.”

THE WORLD AS YOUR CLASSROOM
One of the unique things about the Solvay Ponts MBA is the international study trips. We happened to go to China and the US. Both experiences where wonderful because I had never been to China. So I could get to know the Chinese culture, which gave us new insights on how things worked and happened in China. The same goes for the US, where we visited many companies and places like MIT and Harvard which gave us a unique opportunity to get their perspective and view on innovation and business.

THINK LIKE AN ENTREPRENEUR
What’s most unique about the Executive MBA is that it gives you a holistic view on business on top of being an expert. The business plan development course is one of the most important courses of the MBA program. It gives you a ‘ready-to-go’ kit if you’re planning to launch your own company. And even if you’re not planning to be an entrepreneur it is a great tool and asset to have for your internal and external customers and your investors.

Victoria Férauge – USA – Former CIO Brink’s France

“For years I had been dreaming of returning to school and getting an MBA. My background  is in Information Systems Management and after many years in the business in the U.S.,  Japan and France I went looking for a program that would broaden my knowledge and skills  and allow me to explore other career opportunities.

I found exactly what I was looking for at ENPC. Not only was I able to acquire the broader management skills to realize my ambitions, I also had the enormous pleasure of learning from world class professors and studying with students from all corners of the globe.”

Xavier Zakoian – France – Revenue Management Director, NRJ Group

“After acquiring 15 years of professional experience, I still strongly felt that I should broaden my knowledge in essential fields such as Corporate Strategy, Finance, and Marketing. I also wanted to acquire a number of tools and methodologies that would enhance my previous professional experience and prepare me for more challenging opportunities in the coming years.
I chose the ENPC Executive MBA program for the extraordinarily high quality of its educational program and outstanding professors as well as for its unique international and multicultural approach.
I am happy to say that over the past 7 months, my expectations have been more than met. The ENPC Executive MBA program has already enabled me to move to a higher level of professional knowledge and executive skills and is providing me with an enriching and challenging educational experience.”
