After an electronic vote with votes coming in online from Belgium, Brazil, North and west Africa, France, Germany, India. Italy, Lebanon, Sudan, UAE, UK, USA, we gathered in central Paris on the 27/09 to meet with our newly elected Board members.
It was a great pleasure to network and enjoy having a good food and champagne with a crowd of alumni and staff. The AGM gave an account for the board activity of 2017-2019, followed with the presentation of the 16 new board members, with representatives from the very first MBA 1987, Jila Khosravi Darabiha, through to our current Executive DBA and Executive MBA participants.
Our board statistics: 25% of women, 30% of recent cohorts, 30% of old cohorts,
They share 8 different nationalities: France, Iran, India, China, USA, Romania, Denmark, Morocco.
Dr Ali Afdjei was re-elected President, Pierre-Yves Rodet was re-elected Secretary with Richard Lagalisse elected as Treasurer.
The night ended with everyone joining in to learn how to dance the Lindy Up!
There’s a great feeling of new energy and a lot of talent to discover on the board. Their mission now is to work on a new strategy for the alumni board moving forward so if you have an idea or an industry contact or you would like to sponsor an event, contact them now.
