With Michael Valentin, an alumnus of the École des Ponts ParisTech and author of the book “The Tesla Way: The disruptive strategies and models of Teslism”
At the beginning of the 20th century, Fordism revolutionized the industry with unprecedented productivity gains. Sixty years later, Toyotism developed the principles of operational excellence, with quality and responsiveness. 2010: Elon Musk shakes up the codes by inventing an innovative and disruptive organization system for Tesla. A model that can be observed today as the global point of reference of the 4th industrial era…
Tesla disrupts the automotive industry by creating many innovative pieces that fit together. Its marketing, production, sales and technology strategies are all notably different from its competitors.
During this event Michael Valentin will go through a mixture of the theory behind the Tesla business model and its applications. He will illustrate the combination between the manufacturing world and the digital world to inspire the audience on how this can be applied to existing manufacturing and production strategies in other companies.
