Deciding to pursue a serious learning endeavour like an MBA, Executive MBA or Executive DBA is an important life choice. It is a very wise investment in yourself and, probably, the best thing you can do to create exciting new professional opportunities. The payoff is not only professional, rather, many are surprised to discover, the return on investment is first and foremost personal. You will learn a lot about yourself along the way, see the business world and the world in a new way, face numerous challenges that will push you to go beyond what you thought you were capable of doing, and you will celebrate victories big and small (some of which only you will know about). As you will discover, the most challenging part is managing your “project” – doing the work, making the time, meeting the deadlines, staying positive, enjoying the process, and being both efficient and effective. And, like all investments, the more you put in, the more you will get in return.
The participants in our programs come from a broad range of professional and academic backgrounds, nationalities and cultures – just like our staff and our faculty. What makes the experience so rich is the combination of the knowledge, skills and cultural perspective of our professors with your own and those of your peers – thus creating a unique learning experience from one cohort to the next. We are sure that you will enjoy working within such a richly diverse environment and learning that you learn as much from your peers as from your professors, and that you have so much to contribute to the learning of others by bringing in your own unique perspective, knowledge, expertise, and experience.
If we had to synthesize our philosophy to its essential, we could say that our mission is to ensure a positive transformation of our graduates so that they can, in turn, contribute to positively impacting our world. Created by Dame Celia Russo in 1987 with the mission statement of being “in business to make a better world”, our school continues to remain faithful to her vision. We aim, day to day and year to year, to help participants liberate their potential, strengthen their skillsets, discover their passion and gain the confidence necessary to be positive agents of change in a rapidly-changing and increasingly complex world. As we are convinced that technology and innovation will continue to increase the pace of change, we feel that it is key that our graduates leave our programs with a keen understanding of how both will combine to increasingly affect our work and private lives.
Even after 30 years, we have remained agile and consider our school a continuous work in progress. We are continually striving to make each program better – better in terms of content, of pedagogical methods, of relevance to employer and participant preferences, and of being in sync with today’s professional demands. And we are trying to “walk the talk” in terms of applying the innovation methods we teach in the classroom as we “test and learn” our way to develop new courses, services and programs.
We are proud to offer you forward-thinking content, delivered by internationally-renowned faculty, which addresses the current issues facing people, organizations and society today – and equips you with the right skill-set to adjust to the unprecedented challenges the future will present to all of us.
We look forward to sharing this journey of reflection, discovery and advancement with you!
